A bit about myself and what I do.

I always strive to be a thoughtful and intentional problem solver. I am passionate about using design as a problem-solving tool to distill complex challenges into meaningful visual solutions that are human-centered and can make life a little easier. Currently, I am working as a senior graphic designer and art director based in Atlanta.

I am naturally curious and always trying to explore new ideas, concepts, and worlds, which is why you can find me reading something new, taking a class, exploring something new (currently obsessed with organizing my life with Notion), or finding new ways to play with paper, with origami or bookbinding.

Right now, I’m reading:
Siege and Storm, from the Grishaverse, for fun
The user experience team of one, for learning
Learning how to feel, for growth

And, I’m learning:
Digital Project management (SuperHi fan alert)

A bit about how I approach design

how the magical thought process happens

This process is not a linear, one-loop-and-done approach. My brain is always ON and running around this loop minute by minute, so learning, thinking, and pivoting happens on the big scale in days and micro-scale in minutes.

How it all works

Learn and Discover
Asking questions, expanding my knowledge, questioning my knowledge, purposefully wandering, wondering, and exploring.

Think and Assess
Analyzing my knowledge, seeing the whole picture, breaking it apart, putting it back together, distilling thoughts.

Focus and pivot
Finding the intersection, the lightbulb moments, where all the pieces click together and the magic happens.
